A would-be robber was shot outside a convenience store in Orange County early Sunday morning.Authorities with the Orange County Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened at the 7-Eleven on Lee Road about 5 a.m.Investigators said the assailant was fatally shot after he tried to rob another man who was leaving the store.The robbery victim told officials the assailant went after him when he said he didn't have any money. The man said he shot the attacker in the chest.The would-be robber died at a hospital.
